This kit helps you grow your students’ math and literacy skills as well as their understanding of the life cycle of flowering plants. Students will be humming the Seed Song as they sort, measure, estimate, count, classify and yes, plant their seeds.
It Started as a Seed provides beginning readers with tidbits of information about certain seeds and plants that they grow into in a nonfiction format. Includes materials for 12 student groups, student worksheets and instructions. Developed by Paula Loggins. Grades Pre-K–2.
