Product InformationChemistry teacher Frank Stevens has come up with an easy-to-use device for teaching students how to write simple chemical formulas. The Ion Formula Finder features two dials; one listing the charges on positive ions and the other the charges on negative ions.As students turn the dials the ions appear in the windows; by flipping the Finder over, they can read how the formula should be written. The Finder, designed for students in grades 9–12, can be used for any compound with 1–4 positive charges and 1–3 negative charges. Includes: 30 Ion Formula Finders and an instruction sheet.
