With the same affordability and high-performance of the original Astroscan® telescope, the Astroscan PLUS also includes new, user-friendly features added to enhance your experience. The Plossl eyepieces now provide a full 50° apparent field fo view and an improved focusing arrangement with sanded drawtube/spiral includes a fine pitch thread resulting in a positive, non-slipping grip. Its improved optical collimation results in better images, while the new unit-power reflex-sight finder offers a significant improvement over the original’s metal sight. A substantially built, well-fitting dew-cap/light-shield has an interior surface that absorbs unwanted light and reflections well, for crisp, clear views. Also included is a built-in image erector with flip mirror, rubber mat to reduce vibration while viewing, and an updated manual with directions on all the standard and new features. The fully portable telescope is an ideal introduction to astronomy and star-gazing. Choose from the Basic or Deluxe Package.
