Now you can share your passion for biology, botany or geology with this powerful zoom stereomicroscope with built-in 1/4" interline CCD camera with 5 lux capability and automatic white balance. Features for microscopy 10x-30x magnification, widefield 10x eyepieces, a 230mm x 220mm stage and a focus range of 1.92"/48mm. Illumination is provided by a 12V, 10W halogen (incident) bulb. These light sources work separately or together providing you with three options. The 80mm stage plate is frosted and the unit comes with black and white inserts. The ergonomically designed base is wide at the back for extra stability while narrow upfront to give you the room you need to easily manipulate specimens. The CCD camera with UBS "plug and play" connector allows you to transmit images directly from the microscope to your computer for viewing on your monitor. Data is delivered at a rate of 7.5 MB/sec. Still images can be displayed at 640 x 480 pixels and live video can be displayed at a frame rate of 8-15 seconds. Used with the included Motic Images 2000 software still images and live video of specimens under study can be saved to your computer's hard drive. Motic software features SMART™ Board compatible content for integrated science and lessons that maximize the value of your classroom IT solutions. Still images can be stored in JPG, BMP or MIG formats with an image size of between 320 x 240 to 1024 x 768 pixels. Images can be measured in metric or English scale, shared via the internet or e-mail, combined to amalgamate images with different focuses into one unified clear image processed with a variety of filters and much more.
