Product Information

Hand Boilers are looped and twisted glass sculptures containing a liquid that will "boil" with the heat from your bare hand. Simply hold the large bulb end in the palm of your hand. In a few minutes your body heat will cause the liquid to start to rise. Once out of your hands, it takes a few minutes for the liquid to cool down and return to the large bulb.

Pretty fascinating science toy. Excellent demonstration of energy transfer. Comes in three different colors: blue, green and red - let us pick one for you.

Great learning tool.

This is an excellent item. I can explain the transfer of heat science to my kids and no matter what the age (I have a 9 year old & a 15 year old) they simply love it and enjoy it. Great learning tool.

Hand Boilers ROCK!!!!

The hand boilers are an excellent way to demonstrate physical science properties to my middle schoolers. I use them to demonstrate how different liquids have different boiling points. The boilers are beautifully crafted and are some of my student's favorite things in the lab!
